London, 19th October 2007, Swarovski Fashion Rocks for The Prince’s Trust:  Last night, The Royal Albert Hall was the place to be as Hollywood’s most fashionable pairing Samuel L. Jackson and Uma Thurman hosted this glamorous once-in-a-life time fashion and music extravaganza. 

The artists and designer pairings who took to the stage last night and the title of the song performed are: multi Grammy award winning R&B singer Alicia Keys performing “No One” for Armani; twice BRIT nominated Razorlight fronted by trend-setter Johnny Borrell performing “In the Morning” for Burberry; multi platinum sultry soul singer Joss Stone performing “Baby Baby Baby” for Calvin Klein Collection; London’s favourite Lily Allen performing “LDN” for Chanel; NME’s ‘coolest person in rock’ Beth Ditto and The Gossip performing “Yr Mangled Heart” for Christopher Kane; award winning super-producer and artist Timbaland featuring Keri Hilson performing “The Way I Are” for Dolce & Gabbana; electro starlet Roisin Murphy performing “Overpowered”  for Gucci; the Diva of all Divas Dame Shirley Bassey performing the medley “Goldfinger-Wonderful-Hey Big Spender” for Marchesa; New York duo Shy Child performing “Drop the Phone” for Stella McCartney; the sultry voice of the Pussycat Dolls Nicole Scherzinger performing “Baby Love” for Valentino; godfather of punk rock Iggy Pop performing “I Want To Be Your Dog”  for Versace; and new romantic star Marc Almond performing “Strangers in the Night” for Yves Saint Laurent .

And the multi-award winning and triple platinum selling Sugababes with soulful songbird Patti LaBelle gave a surprise performance of “Lady Marmalade” for Swarovski, proud sponsors of this year’s event.

Adding to the glamorous line-up were the guest hosts: Gwyneth Paltrow, Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Watts and Dame Edna EverageGwyneth Paltrow presented Mr Valentino with the first ever Swarovski Fashion Rocks for the Prince’s Trust Lifetime Achievement Award.

And in an amazing coup for London, music’s all time leading lady Whitney Houston came on stage last night to present the final segment of this stunning show.

Whitney Houston said: “It is our responsibility to empower young people with a positive direction for their future.  Important organisations like The Prince’s Trust offer that opportunity.”

Esteé Lauder headed up the team of make-up artists who transformed the models for each designer segment.
