The British Heart Foundation 2008

10/08/2008- Talent booking agency UPFRONT, Celebrities Worldwide's partner company, was delighted to work with leading ad agency Grey to cast the highly acclaimed and charismatic actor Steven Berkoff  (pictured right) for a powerful new television commercial for The British Heart Foundation (BHF)

The BHF is celebrating the coup of an exclusively negotiated solus commercial break for the launch of its compelling two minute film, ‘Watch Your Own Heart Attack’, airing exclusively on ITV1 on August 10th 2008. 

It is part of a wider campaign to tackle heart attacks, the driving force behind this groundbreaking film is to raise awareness of heart attack symptoms and ensure people call 999 immediately upon experiencing them. 

Directed by Brett Foraker, the multi-award winning Creative Director of Channel 4, the BHF film shows Berkoff at his scintillating best.

Berkoff, who has a formidable reputation for his intense performances on both stage and screen and who appeared in Stanley Kubrick’s legendary movie, ‘A Clockwork Orange’ produces a masterful performance for the BHF. 

The BHF campaign, conceived and created by Grey London, also consists of a highly provocative transmedia teaser campaign.  A striking poster with a call to ‘Watch Your Own Heart Attack’ in bold text is featured across a number of media channels including billboards, press, washrooms and online, and has run from Monday 28th July up to the films' launch on August 10. Teaser trailers, supported by well known personalities including Chris Tarrant and David Cameron, were aired on ITV and on radio stations the week leading up to the film launch.
