Cosmopolitan Fun Fearless Female Awards 2006

Tonight the Cosmopolitan Fun, Fearless, Female Awards with Olay will celebrate smart, passionate and inspirational women, from a variety of backgrounds, who are not afraid to make a difference.

Cosmopolitan, the world’s number one magazine for young women, launched the initiative earlier this year and on Tuesday 7th November high profile guests from the worlds of fashion, business, society and media will enjoy a glittering champagne reception, awards ceremony and party at the Bloomsbury Ballroom in London to celebrate these extraordinary achievers’ success. One winner and one runner up will be selected from twelve categories including film, music, sport, media, survivor and heroine among others.  The Awards will honour a mixture of high profile and ordinary women leading exceptional and inspirational lives.

The judging panel comprises high profile names such as Women’s Hour presenter and Women’s Aid Patron Jenni Murray, T4’s June Sarpong, Live 8/TOTP/Radio 1 presenter Fearne Cotton and double gold medallist Dame Kelly Holmes – while guest acceptances include:
