The British Comedy Awards - The Awards Go On!

In its impressive 16th year, The British Comedy Awards return to ITV2 this December with British Comedy Awards And The Awards Go On. ITV2’s exclusive live show will present a further four awards as well as getting all of the gossip from the backstage party. The British Comedy Awards - The Awards Go On is brand new and exclusive to ITV2, Wednesday 13 December, 10.30pm.

At the top of the show the four awards will be presented to a selection of the most deserving comedy candidates, on the ceremony’s main stage. There are awards for ‘Best Comedy Film’, ‘Best International Comedy TV Show’, ‘Best Live Stand Up Tour’ and ‘Best Stage Comedy Tour.’

Once the winners have been announced the remainder of the show will focus on the after-show party antics. Like any worthy post-show bash, ITV2 viewers will be the first to discover juicy backstage gossip from the winners and losers, celebrity guests and presenters. Guests will be invited to take a seat on the ITV2 sofa and share their thoughts on the evening.

Join ITV2 at The British Comedy Awards 2006 to celebrate and perhaps commiserate with some of the most loved comedians from the 2006 British comedy scene. The ITV2 cameras will gatecrash the soiree, rove amongst the guests and interrupt the celebrities hard partying.
