PEREZ HILTON TO HOST LIVE WEB SHOW AT THE 2008 MTV EUROPE MUSIC AWARDS

Perez to bring his Perezciousness to the most prestigious live music event in Europe

London, Friday 5th September, 2008 – Perez Hilton, the original celebrity blogger, will be the Host of this year’s live webcast of the 2008 MTV Europe Music Awards at www.mtvema.com. The 2008 MTV Europe Music Awards will be broadcast live from the Liverpool Echo Arena, Liverpool – European Capital of Culture - on Thursday 6th November and are sponsored by edc by Esprit and Sony Ericsson. Additionally this year's 2008 MTV Europe Music Awards is being sponsored in the UK by <<INSERT LOCAL SPONSOR HERE>>.

This will be the first time that Perez Hilton – the self professed “Queen of all Media” – will be a presenter for MTV in Europe following his VH1 premiere What Perez Sez in the US.

I've watched the show every year from the U.S., but this will be my first time attending and presenting, so that's especially exciting.

In the run up to the Awards, Perez will cover the preparations for Europe’s most prestigious live music event as well as report from MTV Liverpool Music week sponsored by edc by Esprit. On the night of the event itself, he will kick off MTV’s live multi-platform offering with a prime position on the red carpet, interviewing the stars and trying to extract any gossip for MTV viewers. Throughout the night he will continue to report live from backstage at the Liverpool Echo Arena and will also present one of the coveted MTV Europe Music Awards.
