And now the National Theatre’s multi award-winning production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is embarking on a nationwide tour.

The story takes place in 1998 in and around the town of Swindon, where fifteen-year-old Christopher Boone discovers the slain body of his neighbour’s dog Wellington. Now set on a mission to undercover the murderer, he records each fact in a book he is writing. His investigation is at times aided, and at others hindered, by his mild form of autism. Christopher has an extraordinary brain, exceptional at maths while ill-equipped to interpret everyday life. He has never ventured alone beyond the end of his road, he detests being touched and he distrusts strangers. But his detective work, forbidden by his father, takes him on a frightening journey that upturns his world.
