Celebrities from the TV & Film World Bluff Major Sports Stars as Matt Dawson, Teddy Sheringham and Danny Dyer battle it out for $540k

In its third year, the 888.com UK Poker Open will see some of the world’s finest poker players, online qualifiers and celebrities vying for a place in the finals. In total 108 people will battle it out to become the third 888.com UK Poker Open Champion. They will have to prove their skill and test their nerve to take this year’s title at one of the biggest televised poker events of the year.
This September’s event showcases celebrities eager to show off their skills and poker faces to claim the prestigious title. Teddy, Matt, Danny and last year’s champion are joined by the 2006 888.com world snooker champion Graeme Dott, television legend Mike Reid and Eastenders star Billy Murray all competing for a total prize pool of $540,000.
This year the Challenge TV cameras will highlight the pressure the 65 top poker professionals, 35 net qualifiers and 8 celebrities will be under. The event will be televised on Challenge every weeknight from Mid-October to Mid-November.
