Monday 11th December
La Dolce Vita is the star-studded charity event of the year. On Monday 11th December 2006 La Dolce Vita will be back and bigger and better than ever. Confirmed A-list performers headlining the night include: The Opera Babes, Beverly Knight, Alexander O’Neal and the magnificent Will Young with an exclusive performance by the London Philharmonic Concert Orchestra. Not only this but the after-show party will continue downstairs by transforming the venue into a top nightclub. The host DJ for the club-night will be the renowned Maxi Jazz from Faithless.
In the past years, La Dolce Vita has become the charity event with a difference, with celebrities such as Beyoncé, Sting and Lionel Richie entertaining the star studded audience. During past events the organisers have staged auctions, which featured exclusive and totally unique auction lots such as, membership to the Setai Club in Miami, £75,000 worth of Diamonds, a Harley Davidson (signed by Sting) and a yoga session with Sting which sold twice to Elle Macpherson and Penny Lancaster. The event has always raised staggering amounts for the charity of the night and this year the organisers aim to raise over £1,000,000 for CLIC Sargent.
It’s no surprise that tickets (£800 each) for the event have nearly sold out, past guests include Rod Stewart, Penny Lancaster, Elle Macpherson, Jemima Khan and Mick Jagger. Everyone knows that La Dolce Vita is a serious charity fundraising event… but they also know that it’s a guaranteed night to remember.
Charlie Feather founder of La Dolce Vita says ‘I’m delighted to have secured the rights back for La Dolce Vita – the brand which we worked so hard to build up into the prestigious event that it is today. I look forward to this year’s spectacular event and am convinced it’s going to be the best event yet’.
