Lord Snowdon's work is to be offered for the first time ever at an art fair, at the Modern Works on Paper Fair, which opens at The Royal Academy of Arts, 1-4 February 2007.
The large exhibition of photographs by Lord Snowdon is being shown by the art dealer Chris Beetles, and it is only the second time he has ever sold his work.
For half a century Lord Snowdon has proven to be a photographic polymath: documenter of the rich and poor, theatre and film, high society and social change. A long-standing contributor to Vogue, Tatler, The Times, The Telegraph and virtually every other high profile publication, Snowdon is a photographer who has recorded and defined his generation.
Chris Beetles Ltd is the first gallery to represent Snowdon in his fifty year career.
