Stylish, cool and collected, that‘s the image of David Beckham that will adorn copies of his autobiography, David Beckham: My Side, this autumn. The photograph that will be seen on shelves from London to Auckland, Tokyo to LA, Manchester to Madrid, was taken just prior to David‘s departure for the Far East with Real Madrid.
David Beckham: My Side will be the first time that the England captain gives his own in-depth account of his extraordinary life to date. Football, fashion, family life, the price of fame, all will be covered in this revealing autobiography published by HarperCollins on 12th September.
The cover photograph was shot in black-and-white by celebrity photographer Dean Freeman who has worked with David on several previous projects including his bestselling 2003 calendar. Dean has also photographed many other famous names including The Spice Girls, Dennis Hopper, Ronan Keating, Craig David and Liz Hurley.
