Celebrity booking agency UPFRONT secured resurgent Hollywood film star MICKEY ROURKE to appear as special guest on the award-winning lunchtime television programme, LOOSE WOMEN being broadcast on ITV1 on Friday 11th September 2009.
The charismatic actor who sealed a comeback with an Oscar nomination for his powerful role in the acclaimed feature film "The Wrestler" was interviewed about his roller coaster career by new LOOSE WOMEN presenter Kate Thornton (former host of "The X Factor") and her fellow Loose ladies Carol McGiffin, Coleen Nolan and Zoe Tyler.
Mickey, who this week picked up GQ magazine's International Man award at the Royal Opera House in London, has something of a reputation as a fast living party animal having been pictured visiting many of London's top nightclubs during his current stay in the capital. But, says UPFRONT managing director Richard Brecker "Mickey showed another side to his character talking frankly and with great humility about his life and career". The interview can be seen on ITV1 on Friday between 12:30 and 1:30pm
