The Hunger Games: Catching Fire took in a massive £12 million during it’s opening weekend, beating the first installment of the franchise which took in £4.5 million on its opening weekend in March 2012.

Hugh Jackman revealed that he has undergone minor surgery to have cancerous cells removed from his nose. He has since urged fans to get suspicious marks checked after the spot on his nose turned out to be a form of skin cancer.

Monty Python’s Terry Jones has confirmed that himself, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle and Michael Palin will reunite for a stage show. The group will appear at a press conference in central London on Thursday Nov 21.

 

The Overtones have announced their new single, a cover of Charlie Chaplin’s Smile, which will be released Dec 15 in aid of international charity Operation Smile, with 100% of the net profits going to the organisation.

Robbie Williams has announced plans for a new headline tour where he will play nine dates across the UK in support of his new album Swings Both Ways which is released yesterday. An alternate ending to AMC's Breaking Bad which features on the final DVD release, has surfaced online. The scene is inspired by Bryan Cranson's Malcolm in the Middle series which sees him wake up to realise that he is in fact the sitcom Father Hal and not the drug lord Walter White.

Lady Gaga has earned her third UK number 1 album with ARTPOP, knocking Eminem’s The Marshall Mathers LP 2 off the top spot and in to second place.
