Florence + The Machine will headline Barclaycard presents British Summer Time at Hyde Park on July 2, with Kendrick Lamar, Jamie xx and Blood Orange also set to perform.

Adele has claimed the biggest one-week sales in US chart history, becoming the first artist to sell over 3 million records in a week; shifting 3.38 million copies of her new album 25.

Nickelodeon’s classic Hey Arnold! is reportedly set to return to the channel for a TV movie.

The BBC Trust’s decision to close down BBC Three as a broadcast channel and move it online in March 2016 has been finalised.

After high demand Coldplay have announced extra shows at Manchester's Etihad Stadium on June 5 and London's Wembley Stadium on June 19.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens actors Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill will appear on Graham Norton for the Christmas special, while Jennifer Lawrence, Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg are set for the New Year's special.

Coldplay are confirmed to perform at The X Factor final on the weekend of December 12 and 13. Adele and One Direction are both rumoured to perform.

Liam Payne has confirmed that 'Infinity' will be the latest track from One Direction's new album Made In The A.M.


Marvel has confirmed that production on Doctor Strange has officially begun, with the likes of Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams and Tilda Swinton set to appear alongside Benedict Cumberbatch.

Idris Elba has confirmed that series 4 of Luther will premiere on BBC One at 9pm on Tuesday 15 December.

The nominees for the Brits Critics’ Choice Awards 2016 have been announced. Jack Garrett, Frances and Izzy Bizu are all up for the award.

The official Doctor Who twitter account has announced that Greg Davies and Matt Lucas will star in this year’s Christmas special.

JJ Abrams has revealed that Carrie Fisher's Princess Leia has a new title in The Force Awakens. She will be refferred to as General Leia.

Tina Fey and Martin Freeman's as-yet-untitled Afghanistan comedy has been given a release date of March 4.

Matthew McConaughey is set to play a singing koala called Buster Moon in new animated film Sing. Taron Egerton, Tori Kelly, Seth MacFarlane, Scarlett Johansson, John C Reilly and Reese Witherspoon will also lend their voices.

Director Ridley Scott has revealed he will finally let everyone know who actually created the Xenomorphs in the upcoming Prometheus sequels.

Olivier Award winner Maria Friedman and Mel Giedroyc have joined the cast of ITV's The Sound of Music Live which is set to air over the Christmas season with Kara Tointon in the lead role as Maria.

Adele is reportedly in talks for a supporting role in the French-Canadian fimmaker Xavier Dolan's upcoming movie The Death and Life of John F. Donovan.
