Series 2 of BBC One’s The Missing comes back soon with Tchéky Karyo returning as detective Julien Baptiste, alongside new cast members David Morrissey and Keeley Hawes who will play Sam and Gemma, a couple whose young daughter went missing in 2003. 

Former Love Island cast member Jonathan Clark is joining The Only Way Is Essex with his younger brother Chris Clark.

Nick Grimshaw has confirmed he will not be returning as a judge on The X Factor this year.

Emily Blunt is reportedly in talks to star as Mary Poppins in the upcoming sequel, which will take place 20 years after the original Disney musical.

Now that BBC Three has moved online, Family Guy will begin airing on ITV2 from Monday 29 February at 9pm.

Aziz Ansari has confirmed his Netflix series Master of None will return for a second season in 2017. 

Sega Sammy Group is reportedly working with Sony Pictures on a live-action and animation hybrid Sonic the Hedgehog movie scheduled for release in 2018. 

A Battlestar Galactica movie is reportedly back in development at Universal Studio.

Disney XD in the US is partnering with Lucasfilm to produce LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures - a cartoon Lego Star Wars TV series set between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.

Ex-Formula 1 boss Eddie Jordan, German racing driver Sabine Schmitz, YouTube star Chris Harris and journalist Rory Reid will help front the new series of Top Gear, opposite Chris Evans and Friends star Matt LeBlanc.

As well as premiering in the West End stage this July, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts I & II will also be released as a book on July 31.

The Royal Albert Hall is set to show the 1993 Steven Spielberg classic Jurassic Park with John Williams' score performed live on stage by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, on November 4 and 5. 

The last ever series of Fresh Meat is confirmed to air on Monday February 22 at 10pm on Channel 4. 

Agent Carter star Hayley Atwell has reportedly signed up as the female lead of ABC’s new legal drama Conviction.

Dougray Scott has reportedly joined the cast of the second season of Fear the Walking Dead, AMC’s Walking Dead prequel.

The Good Wife actor Matt Czuchry has reportedly signed up to return to Gilmore Girls in the new four-part Netflix revival.

Orange Is the New Black star Uzo Aduba is to star in Jamie Lloyd's latest West End production - a modern retelling of Jean Genet's dark drama The Maids, alongside Laura Carmichael and Zawe Ashton.

Channel 4 has confirmed that former The Wanted star Tom Parker will replace Tina Hobley on The Jump after Tina was forced to pull out with a dislocated elbow.

   

The Bodyguard is returning to the West End for a limited six-month run at the Dominion Theatre from July 15, and Beverley Knight is set to reprise her role as Rachel Marron, the part made famous by Whitney Houston. 

Celebrity Juice returns for its 15th series later this year with the first episode set to be broadcast live - the first UK panel show ever to do so.

Joe Alaskey, the voice of iconic Looney Tunes characters such as Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Tweety and Sylvester the Cat, has sadly died at the age of 63.

Our thoughts go out to the family and friends of Oscar-nominated actor Frank Finlay who has sadly passed away at the age of 79.

Nick Grimshaw confirmed on his Radio 1 Breakfast Show this morning that Radio 1’s Big Weekend will take place at the Powderham Castle in Exeter on May 28 and 29 this year. Coldplay, Ellie Goulding and Craig David are the first confirmed to perform.
