“The Romanesque Arch: A visual Language for Europe” is a remarkable body of work taking us through the history of Christianity in Europe. Janet’s expertise in watercolour, her innate understanding of light which she translates into her paintings and her depth and use of colour invite her audience on a pilgrimage of European civilisation stretching from the Creaco-Roman Culture to the expansion of the European Unity we live in today. She has made a monumental journey through Europe, its history and its cultures to create these powerful paintings and she has captured all of the above for us, her audience to learn from and explore.
