Sunday 28th May 2006 – Hurtwood Park Polo Club, Surrey
Join Kuoni at the beautiful Hurtwood Park Polo Club in Surrey on Sunday 28th May for a perfect day of picnics, Pimm’s and relaxation at the Kuoni World Class Polo Day. Now in its fourth successful year, the event has grown in popularity, and is one of the most prestigious charity fixtures in the sport’s calendar.
The afternoon will give the opportunity to watch two full games of Polo, and you can expect to see some famous faces from stage, screen, and one of the younger members of the Royal Family. Previous players have included HRH the Prince of Wales, Jodie Kidd, Kenny Jones, Mike Rutherford and Stefanie Powers.
This year’s event will be in aid of Prince Harry’s new charity, the Princes’ Fund for Lesotho – Sentebale. Designed to help children and young people in Lesotho , Sentebale will offer long-term support to community organisations working with children and young people, and in particular to those working with orphans and other vulnerable children.
So come along for what promises to be an exciting match and a wonderful afternoon’s entertainment, to watch veteran internationals and A-list stars once again trying to help Kuoni retain the Kuoni World Class Cup and raise money for some very worthy charities. As well as the Polo to enjoy, there are fantastic prize draws, food and drink stalls, luxury holiday exhibitors and (hopefully) glorious sunshine!
