New Single ‘See The World’
Released September 4th on Independiente
Following a series of summer festival dates that included Tennessee’s Bonnaroo and Scotland’s T in the Park, acclaimed British quintet Gomez release the stunning new single ‘See The World’ on Independiente, September 4th.
Recorded in London’s RAK studios earlier this year, ‘See The World’ is the second track to be taken from the new album ‘How We Operate’, which was produced by Gil Norton – the bands first outside producer.
Available on two 7” vinyls, it boasts two exclusive tracks: ‘Little Lucifer Love’ – written, produced and mixed by the band – and a blinding reinterpretation of the Rolling Stones track ‘I’m Free’.
Incessantly catchy, relentlessly melodic and distinctly summery, the new single brims with an effortless appeal. Co-written by the band - Ian Ball (lead vocals, guitar), Ben Ottewell (vocals, guitar) Tom Gray (vocals, guitar, keyboard) Paul Blackburn (bass) and Olly Peacock (drums) – it was a favourite of their recent live sets and is one of the album’s strongest moments.
Next month Gomez will play four UK festival dates. They are:
August
12th DEVON, Beautiful Day Festival
19th STAFFORDSHIRE, V Festival
20th CHELMSFORD, V Festival
