‘Outstanding’, ‘compelling’ and ‘self-assured’ – Already Jessica Moon is being acclaimed in the music industry. Now finally with the release of her debut single, ‘Eyes On You’, Jessica Moon is about to become ensconced in the hearts of music fans worldwide.
Jessica is one of those rare artists that appeal to all ages, genres and tastes. She treads the line of cutting edge verve and all encompassing appeal, embracing pop and soul while retaining her R&B routes. With an astonishing voice, far belying her tender years, and an impeccable ear for melody, this 17yr old is a breath of fresh air to the music scene.
Jessica got her calling from an early age and became hooked on the live experience. Whether at Her Majesty's Theatre performing Moulin Rouge, or at the Kingly Club performing her own set, or on stage with her band, music has been a central part of Jessica's life. Early on her talents were mainly focused on dance, however Jessica knew that her main talent and satisfaction lay in her singing.
Over the years Jessica honed her craft, and at the same time developed her singing talent. Her dedication and discipline paid off, with Jessica acquiring a prestigious place at stage school. At this time things took a change of direction, and Jessica decided not to go to stage school, but to focus on her singing. She moved to London for 12 months and worked on expanding her vocal range and perfecting her song writing skills, astounding everyone around her with her amazing vocals. The London music scene being totally overwhelmed by Jessica's live acoustic set.
Jessica is clearly on her way to the next level, with Eyes On You, Lets Commence and Free The Woman wowing the audiences across the UK.
Jessica is currently recording her debut album, which will be released in spring next year. For this Jessica has teamed up with an amazing list of writers and producers. “I want people to relate to my songs, we all experience things in our lives, and I want to share my experiences and feelings through my songs.”
Jessica boasts a talent that is rarely seen in today's over produced market – amazing vocals, quality music, teamed with an overwhelming passion for her art. Being brought up around the sound and vibe of vintage soul and R&B, has inspired Jessica to command excellence of herself – Aaliyah, Marvin Gaye, Luther Vandross, Eva Cassidy being just some of her inspiration.
