‘This Is Who I Am‘
Not a complete stranger to the British media, multi talented singer/songwriter, actress and model, Kezi Silverstone (half sister of Hollywood star Alicia Silverstone) is releasing her debut solo single and doing it her way.
Having featured as guest vocalist on the Danni-Minogue-style dance track ‘What A Feeling‘ in 2002, Kezi has hung up her dancing shoes and reverted to the sound she is more at home with. A blend of acoustic/guitar pop ‘This Is Who I Am‘, more akin to Meredith Brooks and Leann Rimes, is a good example of the material that this interesting artist has previously performed at venues such as The Borderline and the Kashmir Klub in London.
A life inspired track, full of from-the-heart lyrics, Kezi wrote the song with Tom Nichols (Kylie, All Saints, Celine Dion, Gareth Gates, Hall & Oates, Holly Valance, Jessica Simpson) and Alex Von Soos (All Saints, Atomic Kitten). Oskar Paul and Rick Barraclough, best known for their mainstream pop sensibility, have given the track a contemporary production.
Based in England, and former front girl of the Lynx Apollo campaign, Kezi has spent the last few years working with various producers and writing her forthcoming album, in between appearances on the award-winning Jonathan Creek and the hugely popular Footballers Wives.
A double page feature in the Mail On Sunday has already run with future confirmed coverage to include Sunday magazine.
