‘This Is Goodbye‘

Lucy Carr returns with her second self-penned single. In January Lucy entered the UK Chart at number 28 with her debut single ‘Missing You‘, whilst achieving a top 10 chart position in the Music Week Pop chart and top 5 in the Music Week Club Chart Top 10 Breakers. The trance-based dance track was in great demand, being named Record of the Week on Dave Pearce‘s Radio 1 show and appearing on numerous dance compilations including the massive Clubland II album.

‘This Is Goodbye‘ sits very comfortably as her follow up track. Produced by Kenny Hayes, additional mixes come courtesy of Lee Monteverdi. Lucy: "Where as ‘Missing You‘ was light and airy this has a lot more depth. I wrote it a while back and am very pleased that the label has chosen it to be my second single"

Lucy will be on a 6-week club tour in June and July headlining a joint tour with Astral and 56k featuring Bejay.

26 year old Lucy is from originally from North Wales and gave up her job working in a bank when she moved to London to become a model. A spell as a dancer followed before Lucy had the opportunity to concentrate on her song-writing. She now lives in central London with her pet Chihuahua George.

Since the release of ‘Missing You‘ Lucy has been working on her album, scheduled for release later this year, and, through her weekly column in the Wales on Sunday newspaper, continues to regale her fellow Welsh countrymen with tales of her glamorous life in London!
