Matt has been living in LA for the past few years where he completed the majority of his training at Lee Strasberg The Actor Studio, which has helped launch the careers of such stars as Al Pacino and James Dean. He trained there for two years and has come out an ambititious actor with a thirst for success! He is close friend with the likes of Kevin Spacey and Brad Pitt who have both helped him through the years and given him priceless encouragement and handy tips within the film industry.
After finishing his training in LA Matt was snapped up as a television presenter for Channel 4‘s Movie Chart Show and American commercials such as Nintendo 64, 7UP and JVC Europe. He is currently the official double for Brad Pitt and has worked on Snatch, The Mexican, Ocean‘s 11 and Spy Game. Matt will also be working with Brad Pitt in Ocean‘s 12.
Having recently arrived back in England, Matt is having many general meetings with casting directors for his future here, which is looking very promising. He has already been cast as the lead in a film called ‘Too Much Too Young‘ - an English film that he starts shooting in March 2004.
Matt‘s mother, the successful singer Clodagh Rodgers, has been a huge influence in his life and has helped give Matt the drive to succeed.
