Fruit Salad is a comedy drama about four “30 something” friends who gather to celebrate a birthday – the night will transform their world………..forever!
Audley is financially secure and extremely successful, unlike his best friend Derrick. Derrick is a small time hustler and a father of eight – with eight different women! Debbie just wants a decent man and her child support payments on time. The evening is filled with light-hearted conversation until the subject of babies rears it head.
Audley is a broody man and is desperate to have a baby with his long time partner, Trudie. He is hoping the Laurent Perrier and flowers will help sweeten her so his advances later that night will not go unnoticed.
But Trudie has a secret, which she is forced to reveal when “it” turns up on their doorstep!
Love, secrets, success, pain, loss and laughter- do they get their just desserts or is life a Fruit Salad?
