The first trailer for new drama Labor Day has been released.
Based on the novel by Joyce Maynard, and written for the screen by Jason Reitman (Juno, Up In The Air), the film brings a star-studded line up including Kate Winslet, Josh Brolin, Gattlin Griffith and Tobey Maguire.
Set on a long Labor Day weekend in 1987, the film follows 13 year old Henry Wheeler (Griffith / Maguire) who struggles to be the man of the house amidst his depressed mother Adele (Winslet).
On a back-to-school shopping trip, they both encounter the fearsome Frank Chambers (Brolin), who is badly bleeding and in need of their help. He convinces them to take him back to their home, but only later do they find out that he is in fact an escaped convict.
Labor Day is out in UK cinemas on February 7th 2014.
