Spectacle Wearer of the Year Awards 2007

UPFRONT organised celebrity guests for the SpecSavers Spectacle Wearer of the Year Awards 2007 on Tuesday 9th October, 7pm-12pm, at The Palm Court, Waldorf Hilton Hotel, London, WC2B 4DD.

This year's Spectacle Wearer of the Year Awards were hosted by Jenni Falconer and Ben Shephard.  The evening included:

· Glamorous Catwalk Fashion show & Charity auction in aid of Diabetes UK plus the presentation of the eagerly anticipated Specsavers Celebrity Spectacle Wearer of the Year Awards.

· Exclusive VIP after show party.

The awards ceremony tradtionally attracts significant media coverage and this year was in support of Diabetes UK. The charity is the largest organization in the UK working for people with diabetes, funding vital research, campaigning and helping to provide care and support for people live with the condition. One in three people with diabetes will develop life-threatening kidney disease.

The winners of the 2007 Spectacle Wearer of the Year Awards were Colin Murray and Sheree Murphy.
