UPFRONT organised the celebrity presenters for the FiFi UK Fragrance Awards 2008 on Wednesday 23rd April 2008 at the The Dorchester, London. The FiFi UK Fragrance Awards are considered by many as the Oscars of the fragrance world, with the ceremony taking place on either side of the Atlantic and attracting stars such as Sarah Jessica Parker, Katie Holmes, Sigourney Weaver, Kelly Osbourne, Natalie Imbruglia, Katherine Jenkins & Ozwald Boateng. Guests include CEO's of the major cosmetic houses such as L'Oreal, Procter & Gamble, Chanel, Dior, Elizabeth Arden and Estee Lauder, Burberry & Gucci. Awards include 'Best Advertising', 'People's Choice', and 'Best New Prestige Men's and Women's Fragrance Launches'. The Fragrance Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation. All proceeds from the FiFi UK Fragrance Awards Gala Dinner go to Teenage Cancer Trust. They raise the money through sales of tickets to industry figures for the event, advertising in the programme and a raffle. The charity receives between £20,000 and £30,000 a year from the Foundation. To date The Fragrance Foundation has donated over £100,000 to TCT. The money goes towards building special cancer wards for teenagers in NHS hospitals. The event was hosted by Gethin Jones.
