Comedian Jack Carter has sadly died at the age of 93 in his Beverly Hills home due to respiratory failure.

NBC has officially cut all ties with Donald Trump and will not air Trump’s Miss USA or Miss Universe pageant on their network.

Sky is releasing a new TV series titled First and Last 24 Hours in which they will go behind bars documenting real life in prison.

Aislinn Paul has joined the cast of the NBC show Heroes Reborn and in a currently unknown recurring role.

Miles Jupp will take over the BBC radio 4 show The News Quiz next week after Sandi Tovskig steps down after 9 years of hosting.

British actor Tom Holland has been cast as Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. 

Missy Elliott has just been announced as Sunday’s headliner for Bestival on the Isle of Wight.

French DJ David Guetta has become the third artist ever to reach two billion streams on Spotify. Other artists include Eminem and Ed Sheeran. 

Michael C Hall has announced that he will be starring in David Bowie’s off broadway musical Man Who Fell to Earth.

Oscar winning composer James Horner has tragically passed away in a small plane crash in Santa Barbara, California. 

Super Furry Animals will be one of the main headliners for Brighton’s Together the People Festival. 

Director Roland Emmerich has announced that the much anticipated sequel to Independence Day will be titled Independence Day: Resurge.

Patrick Schwarzenegger and Bella Thorne are teaming up for new movie Midnight Sun, based on the Young Adult 2006 Japanese film of the same name.

Lianne La Havas has released the music video for ‘What You Dont Do’ from her new album Blood.

Kim Kardashian has revealed on Instagram that she and her husband Kanye West are expecting a baby boy. 

Home and Away actress Emily Symons has announced that she is expecting a boy with long time partner Paul Jackson. 

Lily Allen states she is grateful to be alive and in good health after there was a gas explosion in her caravan. She only suffered from minor burns.

For the fourth consecutive week Jason Derulo’s single ‘Want to Want Me’ has hit the number one spot on the UK Singles Chart. 

The new trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens broke records having had 30.8 million views in the first 24 hours of its release.

After a suspension from The Only Way is Essex, Mario Falcone has returned to film. 

Taylor Swift has confirmed that fans will not be able to stream her music off the new streaming service Apple Music. 

Breaking bad actor Aaron Paul is starring in the new movie Come and Find Me, directed by Zack Whedon.

Tom Hanks is in discussions with Warner Bros about starring as heroic Captain “Sully” who landed the USAirways Flight into the Hudson River. 

Robyn has released the track ‘Love is Free’ off of her newest music project La Bagatelle Magique. 

After announcing that she wont be returning to American Horror Story, Jessica Lange said that she wouldn’t mind guest appearing on the show.

Florence + The Machine have announced that they will be replacing the Foo Fighters on the Friday night at Glastonbury.

Empire actor Terrence Howard and his wife Mira Pak welcomed their fourth child last night. 

Foals have released their comeback single What Went Down from their new album of the same title, which is set to be released August 28th. 

Sky Atlantic and Showtime announced that they have renewed the hit series Penny Dreadful for a third season. 

Martin Henderson has replaced Patrick Dempsey as the male lead in the medical drama Greys Anatomy, after Dempey's character was killed off after 10 years on the show. 

The Foo Fighters are forced to cancel the rest of their tour dates after frontman David Grohl broke his leg during a show in Sweden.

NBC confirmed that another season of The Celebrity Apprentice has been contracted although host Donald Trump is running for president.

Nick Grimshaw and Rita Ora are joining the judges panel for the next season of The X Factor, alongside Simon Cowell and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini. 

American Country Band Dixie Chicks have announced a European tour for April 2016.

Academy Award winner Forest Whitaker has joined the cast of the Star Wars spin off, Star Wars Anthology: Rogue One.

True Detective actress Adria Arjona will star as Dorothy in NBC’s show Emerald City.

The opening weekend of Jurassic World was a massive success! This film was number one in all 66 of the world markets that it debuted in. 


Demi Lovato is confirmed to voice Smurfette in Sony’s new movie Smurfs, reportedly titled Get Smurfy. 


Nicole Kidman is starring as Gertrude Bell in the new film Queen of the Desert, along side James Franco and Robert Pattinson. 


WWE hall of famer Dusty Rhodes was given an emotional tribute on last nights Pay Per View fight after his sudden death last Thursday.


Rock band Muse have claimed their fifth UK Number 1 album with the release of Drones.

Rod Stewart announced this morning that he will be performing this summer at Radio 2 Live in Hyde Park. 

Jazz icon Ornette Coleman unfortunately passed away this morning in his Manhattan home after suffering from a cardiac arrest. 

Bradley Cooper will be working alongside Graham King and Todd Phillips as executive producers to bring Dan Simmons’ hit book Hyperion to the TV screen. 

Netflix released season 3 of the hit series Orange is the New Black earlier than expected last night! A fourth season of this show has already been commissioned and is set to be aired in 2016.

Indie-rock band Foals announced that they will be releasing their new album What Went Down on August 28th. 

Modest Mouse announced that they will be touring the UK this summer to promote their first album release in 8 years, Strangers to Ourselves.

Carrie Underwood snagged three more CMT Music Awards last night for Video of the Year, Collaborative Video of the Year, and Female Video of the Year, also becoming the most awarded artist in the history of the CMT Music Awards.  

Star War’s director JJ Abrams has confirmed that Star Wars will be in appearance at the International Comic-Con convention that takes place in San Diego in just a month.

Chris Hemsworth has joined the cast of Ghost Busters as the receptionist, alongside Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones.  

The BBC Two’s Great British Menu is confirmed to be returning for a new series late this summer. 

After the success of the first two Pitch Perfect films, writer Kay Cannon is reportedly in discussion with Universal about writing a third sequel.
