INTRODUCTION:
A true VIP experience, The Henley Regatta Ball heralds the return of gracious living and fine dining to Park Place Henley. Celebrating one of the great dates of the English summer season, the quality of the entertainment and hospitality on offer is impeccable. Our chosen venue, an 18th century country house situated above the Thames at Henley was once renowned for playing host to the royal, rich, and famous. The Henley Regatta Ball represents a renaissance of sophisticated and exclusive entertainment for this gracious country house.
EXCLUSIVE:
Guest numbers are strictly limited and the event will undoubtedly be oversubscribed. The format is that of a formal sit down dinner prepared by superchef Marco Pierre White, with world class entertainment provided by internationally recognised guest artistes and celebrities of the highest standard.
PRESTIGIOUS:
The event will attract media attention from the society pages of the top UK glossies, such as Tatler, Vogue, and the quality supplements. To maximise positive coverage we will employ the services of a recognised photographer with whom we have worked on previous events .

MARCO PIERRE WHITE:
Erstwhile enfant terrible of English Haute Cuisine, Marco is now generally regarded as the Godfather of the current UK food movement. Still a force to be reckoned with in the kitchen, Marco will be present on the evening to ensure our guests enjoy a spectacular eating experience.
SUPERMODEL FASHION SHOW:
Haute Couture follows Haute Cuisine. No evening such as this could possibly be accused of needing more glamour, but just in case our Supermodel Fashion Show will add a touch of catwalk glamour to the proceedings
JAMES CRACKNELL:
Henley’s very own Olympic gold medal hero and seven times World Rowing Champion, James Cracknell’s name is never far from the headlines. Here to host our ‘Money can’t Buy’ auction of uniquely unattainable lots, his ebullient and humorous delivery is guaranteed to entertain and amuse.
BRYAN FERRY:
The highlight of the evening will be a uniquely intimate performance from our internationally renowned guest star. With a massive European tour planned for later in the summer, Bryan’s consummate artistry and elegant delivery can only be witnessed in such intimate surroundings at The Henley Regatta Ball.
THE ROCK ALL STARS:
The Rock All Stars are one of the music industry’s best kept secrets. Featuring band members more used to playing with Free, Bad Co., Rod Stewart and The Who (to name but a few), they spend their summer months playing for the sheer pleasure of it. We are honoured that they have chosen to play for us, their previous engagements being private affairs such as The Duchess of York’s birthday party.

VENUE:
The Henley Regatta Ball, although just a two minute drive from the bridge will provide our guests with a tranquil and stately retreat from the hubbub of Henley on the Friday night. Overlooking the Thames, Park Place is an 18th Century Country House set in rolling acres of verdant parkland. Owned by a consortium of financiers, a major renovation and conservation programme is currently underway as part of their ambitious plans to create a golf and country club resort within the grounds.
RECEPTION:
Guests will approach via a long private drive which leads to the front of Park Place. There will be a turning circle for limos and taxis, plus valet parking. Beyond the turning circle guests will enter the champagne reception via a luxuriously appointed portico.
DINING
Entrance to the main dining area will be via an elegant stone staircase which leads onto the formal terrace below Park Place. Under billowing silks and exquisitely back lit walls, guests will be called to table to experience a sumptuous gourmet meal created by Marco Pierre White.
ENTERTAINMENT:
The evening’s programme of entertainment begins over dinner, with a supermodel fashion show, celebrity auction, and performances by internationally acclaimed stars to follow.
FINALE:
Following a spectacular fireworks finale, guests will be invited to dance the night away at our after show party, where our guest artistes and performers will be relaxing with the great and the good until the early hours.

Friends of Over the Wall are a group of people dedicated to raising awareness and funds for the charity’s important work. Each year we organise a programme of events to raise valuable support for this wonderful charity which relies exclusively on the generosity of individuals, businesses and Trust Funds in order to continue its work providing residential camps for children and young people affected by cancer and other serious illnesses. Staffed almost entirely by volunteers, OTW gives seriously ill young children the chance to be just a child again, rather than a patient.
Publicity is secondary in importance only to revenue, and we hope you will proffer any assistance possible to help Over the Wall benefit on both counts”

James Ogilvy and David Bentheim are both Directors of the charity, which also enjoys the patronage of Pia Getty and Princess Marie Chantal of Greece
