Situated in the heart of the West End, Duchess Palace was the official residence of The Queen of the United Kingdom of Portugal, Brazil and The Algarves and her son Prince of Asturias.
Duchess Palace was designed and built by Robert Adams (Greatest British Architect and designer of 18th Century), for the Duke of Portland who was Prime Minister twice.
The Palace enjoys nine splendid reception rooms, including a magnificent 53ft ballroom and luxurious cloakrooms. There are very grand bar areas and the floors are all either exotic Italian marble or fine Italian herringbone parquet. The Palace is suitable for entertaining at the top level. There are also advanced AV facilities with 2 cinemas and a Dolby THX PA system!
This is one of the most exclusive venues in England, having been home to many of Europes' finest nobility.
